Q: What other programmes did you try before that weren’t successful?
A: I was actually I was very into CrossFit and I was making a change. I never really did nutritional coaching with anyone, so I wasn’t really successful in that. Josh was mainly my first experience with any sort of nutrition coming from maybe a PT background. Over time, I had enough knowledge to kind of push myself in my own nutrition, but it’s only once you adapt and learn from a coach actually see how far you’re off. That accountability is what really matters.
Q: What has been your favorite result that you’ve experienced so far?
A: I think, to be honest with you it’s like self-confidence. The actual feeling that all of the work that I’m putting in in the gym is actually paying off, as opposed to putting all the work into the gym and then not getting the quarter results that I wanted or was trying to get. I just found myself kind of just sit at the same kind of like body composition or muscle level instead of developing more.
Q: How do Josh’s programme differ to others that you’ve tried?
A: I think it’s there’s a structure on them. It’s an easy-to-follow plan with a solid structure and in-depth call behind the process that you’re actually dealing with. It’s not overcomplicated as opposed to other different experiences you have with programs or nutritional designs where it’s really overcomplicated. I wonder if it’s unachievable to maintain that over a prolonged period of time, compared to what Josh offers is just like really structured, easy to follow, manageable, like a lifestyle and then always specific towards that goal.
Q: What is something you can do now which you couldn’t before you started?
A: I think from a training perspective, I reckon my strength has really increased with obviously the weight gain that I’ve gone through and that has helped me push the weights that I never thought were manageable or coming from like previous experience that were unachievable for my end. Once I just want to follow on that nutritional plan and then obviously the program with the training and it’s really just pushed me on to new levels with personal bests and stuff.
